Wow, can you believe it’s May? It has been a busy and productive year so far, at MDHA! Here are some highlights:
We conducted the most extensive and technologically advanced Homeless Count in Texas history.
We introduced a series of successful Housing “Challenges”, challenging ourselves and our partners to house a specific group of people, during a specific time period.
This year, again, we are helping hundreds of folks by paying for minor but impactful expenditures, that can help the end their homelessness.
We held a groundbreaking gathering of 70 of the most important leaders in Dallas homeless response system, to make the vital decisions that will chart our course as a community, in ending homelessness.
We continue to galvanize the community to address the overrepresentation of African Americans in the homeless population.
