This year, we decided to produce not one but two videos. Make sure you watch both of them.
We wanted to personally thank Freda Nelms, our HMIS Coordinator, and one of the best adult learning facilitators you will ever meet. She produced the first video in its entirety, and lent a critical hand in producing the second video.
We would also be remiss, if we did not mention our late and much missed friend, Dr. Lester Collins, Jr. These videos, as well as Freda’s video last year, are based on Lester’s excellent training video he produced for the 2018 Homeless Count. Particularly characteristic of Lester were the exhortations to treat those we count with dignity and respect. As the great medieval philosopher and sage, Maimonides, wrote hundreds of years ago, “The righteous – their words serve as their monument.”
