Introducing Lisa and Keisha, Case Manager of the Year Finalists!

Did you get get your tickets for the Case Manager of the Year Award Luncheon 2018, yet? Over the next few days, we will be highlighting one or two Case Manager of the Year 2018 finalists every day. We begin with Lisa Stephenson and Keisha Tryon.

Lisa Stephenson, Housing Crisis Center

Lisa Stephenson works for Housing Crisis Center, and was nominated by Gina Norman. Gina tells us, “Lisa is committed to the Housing First philosophy… steadfast(ly) working with apartment communities to make sure that no one’s prior history prevents them from accessing safe housing… She never assumes what is important to the participant, instead help(s) them find their own sense of purpose.” (And, as you can see in the picture, Lisa is also an expert selfie taker.) Congratulations, Lisa!

Keisha Tryon, The Bridge

Keisha Tryon works for The Bridge, and was nominated by Andrew Lomax. Keisha’s journey at The Bridge is tremendously inspiring. Andrew tells us that she started off as a safety officer, earned her Bachelor’s Degree, and became a care manager. She then became a mom, while completing her graduate degree and licensure in Social Work. Not only that, she is one of the founding Care Managers of The Bridge’s Intensive Care Management Program. (Wow, Keisha, slow down; you’re making the rest of us feel a little inadequate…) Congratulations, Keisha!
