Did you get get your tickets for the Case Manager of the Year Award Luncheon 2018, yet? What are you waiting for?! Check out the two Case Manager of the Year 2018 finalists we highlight today, Luis Moreno and Stephanie Clinton.
Luis Moreno, Prism Health North Texas
Luis Moreno works for Prism Health North Texas, and was nominated by Ben Callaway. Ben tells us, that, “If a client loses housing for any reason, Luis… is empathetic, caring and non-judgmental while assisting the person to become housed. His sense of social justice, patience, compassion and empathy enable his clients to return even after they relapse because they are confident that Luis will be available to help them restart their journey in positive ways, focusing on their strengths rather than their weaknesses.” Wow. (What’s that, reader? We’re not crying; you’re crying!) Congratulations, Luis!
Stephanie Clinton, Austin Street Center
Stephanie Clinton works for Austin Street Center, and was nominated by Dustin Perkins. (OK, Dustin; seriously, we did not realize we would need a supply of tissues just to get through writing these!) Check out what Dustin says: “Stephanie has a keen eye for people who are vulnerable… Many days, as she is writing case notes, or researching resources, a vulnerable client will catch her eye, and she does not hesitate to step in… She is a tireless advocate for… clients… reminding all of us that for every bad decision… (a) client has made, most of us have made one worse, at some time…” Isn’t that the truth! Congratulations, Stephanie!
