Tiffany Knighten, Salvation Army
Tiffany Knighten works for the Salvation Army, and was nominated by Steve Grimes. Steve tells us that, “Tiffany is genuine and passionate about assisting those she serves. She is able to understand the position the clients are in, and is sensitive to their issues. Tiffany understands (that) each client is experiencing different issues at any time, and is skilled at being able to change her approach, as needed, in order to address the situation. Tiffany is capable of using her background and training to meet the clients where they are, and effectively address their concerns with the utmost care and concern.” Congratulations, Tiffany!
Lauren Arant, The Family Place (with a furry friend!)
Lauren Arant works for The Family Place, and was nominated by Rosa Greenlee. Paige Flink, her CEO, tells us, “As lead case manager at our Men’s Shelter, Lauren has taken on a job few could do… Being the first men’s shelter in… Texas and (only the) second in the country, meant we would be developing our own programming to best serve this under-served population. Lauren stepped into the role of Lead Case Manager, seamlessly. Her strong background in case management, combined with her ability to serve our clients with empathy and compassion, has helped create a program The Family Place is extremely proud of. We are so thankful for Lauren’s dedication to our clients! Congratulations, Lauren!
